Night Visual Flight Rules rating allows you to perform a flight by visual reference at night under visual meteorological conditions. A PPL pilot holding NVFR rating can fly anytime during the day 24 hours under visual flight rules. Additionally NVFR rating is required to continue further trainings such as Instrument Rating. During the NVFR trainings you will learn about the visual challenges that comes with night time and how to interpret them. After successful completion of the training you will be able to take off and land and navigate solo at night time. To start NVFR training, you will need

To have EASA PPL, EASA class-2 or Class-1 medical certificate and at least ICAO level-4 certificate.
You must fly 3 hours with a flight instructor and 2 hours as solo under supervision of the flight instructor for NVFR training. You will also need to complete at least 1 hour of solo cross country flight and 5 solo take-offs and full stop landings. The flights are conducted between 30 minutes after sunset and 30 minutes before sunrise. Usually It takes 2–3 days to finish NVFR training. After finishing the trainings, there is not any exam. The flight school organisation will recommend you to Civil Aviation Authority and you will just apply for your new licence with NVFR rating.
