At the theory part of the PPL Training, we will be responsible for 9 lessons.

When you enroll in a flight school for Private Pilot Licence (PPL), you must first have completed 9 PPL Training subject consist of minimum 100 hours of Private Pilot Licence (PPL) theoretical training. Seventy percent of this 100 hours of Private Pilot Licence (PPL) theory training can also be in the form of distance learning. The remaining thirty percent should be face-to-face with a theoretical flight instructor. According to the method of the flight school, 100 hours of training can be given face-to-face at all. After the PPL theoretical lessons are completed, the flight school performs progress tests. After successfully passing these tests, you can take the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) Theory Exam held by the Civil Aviation Authority.
The exams of these subjects are done in the civil aviation authority’s exam room with authority observers on a predetermined day and time.
The candidate has to complete all 9 exams in maximum 4 session. All subjects can be done in one session for sure. . If you fail from any of 9 PPL Theory subjects, you must select a session for next available dates and take the failed exams again. Exams are held in the form of multiple choice PPL tests based on computer and it is enough to get 75 points out of 100 to pass the exam the PPL exams successfully. In other words, if we take the Air Law exam as an example, considering that the number of questions is 20, we need to do a minimum 15 of them. The number of questions in the exam may differ from each other. For instance, you can see 20 questions in Meteorology exam and 13 questions in Communication exam.
How to study Private Pilot Licence (PPL) theory exams?
Obviously you should study in detail the materials provided by your flight school, such as books, presentations, lecture notes. There is another well-known fact that the test solving technique is the best way to prepare for the exams. According to our experience, students who do not practice based on questions face serious problems in the exams.
Therefore, it is vital to pass the exams to practice on the question banks provided by your school. After successfully passing all of the exams, PPL theory exam completion certificate will be issued by Aviation authority.
